With a family tradition of thrifting passed down through generations of women, Jenny naturally embraced sustainability, long before it became a mainstream concern. As fast fashion’s impact became impossible to ignore, the idea of buying less, cultivating personal style, and curating a wardrobe that evolves over time took on new urgency.
It’s important to show that personal style is something cultivated over time, through history, craftsmanship, and a good tailor. Embracing timeless techniques like mending, embroidery, appliqué, and quilting adds both character and creativity to clothing. These traditions can’t be replicated by AI or machines, and it’s essential to remember that behind every garment is a real person. Jenny also prioritizes thrifted and recycled materials, with a special focus on vintage fabrics.
